A SHOCKING 599 children have been rushed to West Wales hospitals' emergency departments following alcohol or drug overdoses in the past three years.

Now a leading Llanelli anti-drugs campaigner has called for police officers to regularly patrol pupils and parents in schools because he believes this is where drugs are being exchanged.
