I WATCHED Sunday night's Countryfile with increasing anger ! Here we had an English television presenter preaching to people in Wales and asking why they objected to gigantic wind turbines and electricity pylons on their doorsteps.
He asked: "How do you expect electricity to reach your home ?" and "How do you expect to get electricity to where it is needed?" I wish he had asked me those questions ! The answer to the former is that Wales already generates more than 4000MW without counting any of its wind energy, and only uses half of that within Wales! Therefore we have more than enough electricity in Wales already and are supplying England with 2000MW of fossil fuel-generated electricity, plus ALL the sporadic wind generation from the whirling monsters scarring our beautiful hills!See the full content of this document
