my View By Gloria Tanner, 62, retired, from Clase I was relieved that they didn't stop the free bus pass and the winter fuel allowance, and brought back the link-to-earnings for the state pension, which makes me pennies better off.

But overall I am horrified. I think it's Thatcherism at its worst. It looks as if the unemployed and those on low income are having to pay back this deficit, which was caused by the banks.
