STAFF at risk of losing their jobs at a Government animal health laboratory in Carmarthen have given a committee of politicians an eye-opening visit.

The House of Commons' Welsh Affairs Committee, charged with investigating the Government decision to cut jobs at facilities in Carmarthen and Aberystwyth, met with staff at DEFRA's Animal Health Veterinary Agency (AVHLA) laboratory off Jobs Well Road, Johnstown.
