A HEALTH worker who was awarded the MBE after helping hundreds of patients over a 36-year career in the NHS is set to retire at the end of the month.
Clinical specialist physiotherapist Vanessa Davies, from Penllergaer, has spent the past 20 years working in the Artificial Limb and Appliance Centre (ALAC) at Morriston Hospital, supporting patients with amputated limbs.
