ON a day out with my family on August 6, I paid for a two-hour stay at Oystermouth pay and display car park. The ticket was valid until 13.29. I arrived back at my car at 13.26 only to see I had received an excess parking charge for Pounds 50. The time the ticket was magically issued was 13.42, a whole 16 minutes into the future! Either there is a time lord working in this particular car park, or the ticket was issued illegally. I phoned the number on the ticket and was told that, if I sent my ticket back to them, it would be cancelled.

That's not good enough. I had no apology.
