WELSH Social Justice Minister Carl Sargeant has thanked volunteers for giving up their time during the festive season to support vulnerable people.

He said volunteers and voluntary organisations play a crucial role and without their support, the Assembly wouldn't be able to deliver many of its commitments to improve the quality of life for the people of Wales.
