THREE lifeguards are being hailed as heroes after rescuing 36 youngsters from the sea at a popular tourist spot. The group plunged into the cold waters off the seaside resort of Tenby after a sandbank they were walking on collapsed as the tide turned.

Myself, husband and children spent the afternoon in Caswell yesterday. The lifeguards were vigilant, firm but friendly. The funding to support them should be available.
