ONCE a giant of the copper industry Swansea will mark that role with a series of tours, talks, screenings and exhibitions from tomorrow. The museums, galleries and former industrial sites are all on board, marking 200 years since the first copper ingot rolled out of the Hafod Copperworks.
Some of the highlights of the festival will include features on copper at the Waterfront Museum, slide-shows on Swansea's Big Screen, behind the scenes tours at Swansea University library, a show of industrial artefacts at the Glynn Vivian, and guided copperworks tours, leaving Swansea Museum Collections Centre in Landore between 2.45pm and 3pm.See the full content of this document
