A PENLAN dad crashed a motorbike trike while drink-driving, leaving one of his passengers with a brain injury and the other needing his leg amputated.

Swansea Magistrates' Court heard that culprit Darren Tony Marahaj was wheel-chair bound as a result of the collision and he too had to have his leg amputated.
