He died after being accidentally shot with an airgun at his home last month. Ashleigh and her friends organised the event after hearing about a similar pink day held at Talycopa Primary School, where Rhys was a pupil. It took place at Birchgrove comprehensive, which Ashleigh attends, and where Rhys would have started next year.
