THE path travelled by refugees from Chile to Swansea is being celebrated as part of a week-long Latin American festival in the city. The series of events, which began on Monday, has been organised by Swansea Latin American Association, and will see the play Tejas Verdes take centre stage at the Dylan Thomas theatre and Taliesin Arts Centre tomorrow and Saturday.
The play is based around the time of the refugees' arrival in Swansea and Cardiff, fleeing repression in their home country, after armed forces overthrew the government on September 11, 1973.See the full content of this document
