Summary
After an abnormally wet summer which resulted in lower bathing water quality at many British beaches, it is encouraging to learn that Swansea Bay attained the EU guideline standard for the first time (Post, November 17).
Although the bay could be flying a Blue Flag next year following last season's favourable analysis results at the Slip, it is unlikely to be awarded one because the council has for years avoided posting bathing water analysis results for the bay near the site of analysis for public inspection, as required by Keep Wales Tidy and recommended by the Assembly.See the full content of this document
