RENTS on private sector flats and houses are rising at an annual rate of 3.9 per cent, says a survey, which means that landlords and property investors are enjoying a return which is almost keeping up with inflation.
According to the latest buy-to-let index from LSL Property Services, the average rent in February in England and Wales rose by 0.2 per cent to Pounds 684 per month, which is 3.9 per cent higher than in February 2010. The average yield rose to 5 per cent.See the full content of this document
