A SWANSEA-BASED AM says a decision to plough in Pounds 30 million of funding into a new medical research powerhouse is cash well spent. Dai Lloyd has spoken in the wake of Assembly Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones and Health Minister Edwina Hart unveiling architect's plans for the second phase of the Institute of Life Science (ILS) at Swansea University, which will create 650 new jobs.
The new state-of-the-art research centre will focus on the key development of new healthcare products and services.
