INSURANCE giant Admiral has welcomed moves to curb the country's compensation culture.

The firm employs 1,600 people in Swansea and relies on referral fees paid by personal injury litigation companies in exchange for customers being put in touch with them, which the Government has pledged to ban, for six per cent of its UK car insurance profit before tax.
