ALMOST 3,000 people facing homelessness have applied to Swansea Council for help.
The local authority received 2,927 applications from people claiming to be homeless between April 2010 and March this year. But, of those who applied, a total of 1,712 households were accepted as meeting the council's criteria for being homeless.See the full content of this document
