EACH time I pass the Gwyn Hall in Neath, I wonder will I still be alive to see this great building return to its original glory. It has almost been two years since we witnessed this grade two listed building reduced to rubble in a devastating fire.
Leader of the council Derek Vaughan said at the time: "I am committed to provide Neath with an arts and culture centre that we can be proud of." Later he said that with some insurance money coming to the council and grant money left over, the work on this building would still be completed.
