WHILE the summer of 2009 has been filled with glorious temperatures, radiant days full of sunshine and mild evenings perfect for al fresco dining and those much-loved BBQs (all right, not quite), it's soon about to come to a close.

Already I've noticed that the days are becoming shorter and the evenings darker, but that's certainly no reason to fret. Moreover, it should actually be something to look forward to.
