INTERACT Befriending Scheme (Involve) -- The people who need Involve Volunteers may have a learning or physical disability, are elderly or unwell and have little social support or no family living locally. Our volunteers spend two to three hours a week visiting a vulnerable adult, supporting them to get out in the community and develop social networks on a one-toone basis and in group settings with support staff based at day centres across Swansea.
Groups provide a variety of activities for people with learning disabilities or those experiencing mental health issues. Volunteers are always welcome to provide support and encouragement.
