THIS is what I think should be done to revive the city centre: the High Street from the station down to Argos should be refurbished properly. Not a lick of paint and a quick sweep -- real money.

When that is done, the council should employ a permanent team for the sole purpose of keeping the entire city centre clean. They should be on the streets all day and every day doing that one job.
