DONATIONS have been pouring in for Bristol Channel conqueror Gethin Jones. The endurance athlete has now smashed the Pounds 1,000 mark after his charity crossing from Ilfracombe to Swansea -- the first time apparently that section of the channel has ever been swum.
An exhausted Mr Jones, of Swansea Marina, waded ashore in Caswell Bay on September 13, but while he has enjoyed a well-earned breather, his Just Giving website has been busy with donations now totalling well over Pounds 1,000.See the full content of this document
