Summary
THE Brunswick Arms, Duke Street, Swansea, is the venue for an evening with String Button Band tonight. Enjoy some American Old Timey Music with the trio -- John Howes (mandolin, guitar and vocals) and Huw Jones (melodeons and stomp board) both well known on the South Wales folk scene as Bear Bones, playing traditional and roots-based songs and music for concerts and ceilidhs. Jim Harper, (fiddle, guitar and vocals) is probably one of the finest singers of traditional songs in South Wales. For the past year or so these accomplished musicians have combined their musical talents and varied repertories to produce some foot tapping, uplifting, wholesome acoustic music.
Also tonight, celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau with a cheese and wine evening at The Gower Heritage Centre, Parkmill. There will be live music with Afternoon In Paris providing some Gypsy Swing inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt from around 8pm.See the full content of this document
