So in I went in search of another toilet elsewhere.

I found one in a shop.

The first cubicle I went into was, frankly, dirty, -- the second only a tiny bit better.

But I used it.

Trying to find somewhere convenient (and half-decent) to spend a penny isn't always that easy.

Figures show the number of public conveniences has fallen by 14 per cent nationwide in the past decade.
