Family Tribute to Soldier Son After Shooting

FAMILY and friends of a Carmarthen soldier killed by an Afghan policeman have spoken of their grief at the loss of "one of the most kind-hearted men you could meet".

Corporal Nicholas Webster-Smith, aged 24, known as Nick or W-S to his family and friends, was killed in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, on November 3. Corporal Webster-Smith was born in Glangwili Hospital on May 2, 1985, and attended Llangunnor Primary School and the former QE Cambria Secondary School in Johnstown, before moving to Pembrokeshire.
