YNYSTAWE have reached the last 16 of the Persimmon National Village Cricket competition thanks to a two-wicket victory in Cornwall against Roche Old Boys.

Batting first on a difficult wicket, Roche were restricted to 163 and were dismissed in the 40th over with Alex Fletcher taking 3-37 and Rowan Evans 2-6. Ryan Trudgeon with 57 was top scorer.
