Drugs Divide 'Unfair'

THE divide between England and Wales when it comes to cancer drugs is "grossly unfair", the Conservatives have said.

Commenting on the findings of a report by the Rarer Cancers Foundation that patients in Wales are five times less likely to access new cancer medicines than in England, AM Darren Millar, Shadow Minister for Health, said: "It is grossly unfair that patients in Wales continue to be deprived of life-saving and life- extending treatments which are readily available to patients in England.
