Summary
THE 2011 annual Gower Bluegrass Festival will be taking place this weekend at the Gower Heritage Centre in Parkmill which will be running some transport to and from Swansea on the Saturday -- you can get details from the centre. The festival, now in its seventh year, attracts bluegrass musicians from the South Wales area and further across the Severn Bridge.
The line-up this year includes UK top acts The Down County Boys who hail from the Midlands and are one of the UK's most respected bands, the Thunderbridge Bluegrass Boys who combine the tradition of a single-mic performance with all-acoustic instruments and powerful four-part harmonies, and Flats & Sharps, who are one of the newest names to hit the British Bluegrass scene.See the full content of this document
