Cancer Patients Miss Out On Treatments

Summary


WELSH patients are being denied life-extending cancer treatments which would have been made available elsewhere in Britain, a new report has claimed.

Findings from the Rarer Cancers Foundation (RCF) allege 35 Welsh patients died, between October 2009 and December 2010, after the NHS refused to pay for drugs which could have extended their lives.
