Piano Playing for Laughs

WHO would have thought there was room in comedy for two funnymen with tangential imaginations, grizzled rock-star hair and a penchant for the piano? Bill Bailey has a rival on the loose in Tim Minchin, who is appearing at Swansea's Grand Theatre on Saturday. Tim lugs his piano about the country for Ready for This? -- a pit- stop tour, with numbers, on pressing issues of the day, such as sex, death and dancing bears. Thrown in for free is Tom's ranting, elongated beat poem, Storm.

Stiletto Sprint for Cancer Fund

RUNNING 150 metres in high heels along a cobbled street sounds like a tall order. But 100 competitors -- men and women -- will be sprinting down Swansea's Wind Street tomorrow in stilettos in aid of cancer charity the James Whale Fund.
