SENTENCE has been adjourned in the case of a Swansea man who admits possessing cannabis with intent to supply. Daniel Rogers, aged 23, of Pengors Road, Llangyfelach, will be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court.
Council Warned Over Potential Low-Pay Claims
CARMARTHENSHIRE Council faces the possibility of a multimillion pound payout from potential equal pay claims brought against it by women. The warning was issued by employment law expert Stefan Cross, a solicitor who has already won settlements for thousands of women working in low-paid jobs across the UK.
AN unemployed man on jobseeker's allowance has pleaded guilty to interfering with a car at Swansea Magistrates Court. Michael Hughes was arrested on August 23 after traces of his blood were found on the steering wheel and service manual of a damaged Hyundai Getz at Swansea Marina. He told officers that he had found the front window already smashed, but must have cut himself when putting his head through prior to opening the glove compartment.
