A TRIMSARAN woman has been prosecuted for dumping rubbish over her neighbour's garden fence. Donna Louise Calford pleaded guilty at Ammanford Magistrates Court on Monday to an offence contrary to Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. The prosecution was brought by Carmarthenshire County Council.
Vegetables Are Centre of Attention
THE biggest and best vegetables in the UK took centre stage at the National Botanic Garden of Wales on the weekend. The Welsh Branch of the National Vegetable Society staged its vegetable championship show -- attracting entries from across the UK, including Scotland, Cumbria, Norfolk and Essex, as well as all over Wales.

A MAN caught driving a taxi without a licence has been fined by city magistrates. Council enforcement officers spotted David Owen, of Malthall, Llanrhidian, driving the vehicle in Clydach in January, and confronted him after he parked by the Capel Road workshops.
